What We Do
Building a Continuum of Care
In May 2025, The Treehouse expanded our service delivery offerings, as well as our physical footprint, with the addition of a new Clinical & Outreach Services facility on Hansell Street — just across the road from our primary Gordon Avenue location.
Through this expansion, children in Thomas County now have access to FREE trauma-focused treatment to lead them on their journey toward healing.
The new space allows us to extend the continuum of care for our clients by providing in-house, trauma-focused therapy at the new Hansell Street location for the children we serve, freeing up the Gordon space exclusively for Crisis Response Services.
Our mission from the beginning has always been to provide every response service children need after experiencing abuse and trauma — from the initial stage of gathering information through a forensic interview, to completing a forensic medical exam for the documentation, collection, and preservation of physical evidence, to child advocacy, and now to specialized trauma-focused therapy services.

How to Make Your Mark
We are repurposing the new space to make it functional for our purposes and inviting for children, families, and caregivers throughout the healing process. Donations of all sizes are welcome, with a specific need to fund these renovation projects:
Builder of Hope | $15,000 (x 3)
Champion of Healing | $10,000 (x 5)
Guardian of Safety | $5,000 (x 22)
All designated gifts of $5,000 or more to the Hansell Project will be acknowledged on our donor tree.
